PRESUPPOSITION #7: Evaluate behaviour should in light of the intent behind it.
The metric that we use to evaluate ourselves is completely different than the one we use to measure other people. We are very quick judges regarding the intentions of other people, but we need to be aware that the same is for others, even if they haven’t taken the time to understand our true intentions.
So it’s good to apply the same logic, on how we wish others would evaluate us and our intentions, and extend this same logic to other people. Instead of jumping ahead and answer on people’s reaction, words or behaviours, it would be better for ourselves to take our time and evaluate adequately the intentions behind what they say and do, as it can come from a base of fear, ignorance, trauma or even they might be good but just uninformed, etc…
